About Hana

Hana Kamea created and performs as Bumbalina, a Ballerina Bumble Bee who loves to sing, dance and play while teaching about our beautiful natural world. 

Hana is a singer-songwriter musician and movement artist with decades of experience working with diverse children of all ages, who loves performing live. She has worked as a school counsellor (from ECE through Grade 12) and family therapist, dance/movement therapist, wilderness guide, filmmaker (The Moving Child Films I, II and III) and teacher of movement facilitation skills for professionals. 

The Bumbalina live show is designed for children ages 3-6 & can always be adapted for those a little older or younger. The show runs approximately 45 minutes and can also be combined in schools with pre or post show social-emotional workshps incorporating body movement, self expression & self-regulation tools (for 30 minutes to one hour).
