Workshops for ECE Staff, Teachers and Adults
Workshop for ECE and preschool teachers:
Learning to Move, Moving to Learn!
Teaches the basics of dynamic and developmental movement as well as specific easy to learn dance and movement activities that teachers and ECE staff can use to engage and teach children. This workshop also teaches about the important relationship between body awareness, movement and self-regulation skills.
The Learning to Move, Moving to Learn workshop can be tailored for a half or full day. Rates are normally: $2500 per day (8hours), or $1200 half day (4hours), plus gst if applicable. Please inquire if your school or organization is non-profit and not gov’t funded.
Workshop for elementary school teachers:
Learning to Move, Moving to Learn!
Teaches the basics of dynamic and developmental movement, qualities of movement and needs expressed through movement, and adds in how to facilitate social-emotional skills through movement and body awareness. Hana will include watching sections of The Moving Child Films and tailor this workshop to whatever age of children the teachers are working with.
The Learning to Move, Moving to Learn workshop can be tailored for a half or full day. Rates are normally: $2500 per day (8hours), or $1200 half day (4hours), plus gst if applicable.
If teaching staff would like access to Hana’s online on demand training module called The Moving Child then this can also be arranged for school staff as a follow-up study course and completion certificate.
