Bumbalina Booking Fees

Preschools / Daycares
• 30–45 minute performance
• $350 (includes setup, takedown, and sound gear)
• Travel fees may apply

Elementary School Classrooms (Pre-K to Grade 2)
• 45-minute performance + 30-minute classroom visit (2 max)
• $450 (includes setup, takedown, and sound gear)
• Travel fees may apply

Whole School Performances
• 45–50 minute show + 2 hours of classroom visits
• $785 (includes setup, takedown, and sound gear)
• Travel fees may apply

Birthday Parties / Private Events
• $350 per hour or $590 for 2 hours
• Includes show + optional dance party with props and games
• Travel fees may apply

Festivals / Corporate / Special Events
• $1500–$3000 per performance
• Price includes sound tech and gear (or can coordinate with existing staff)
• Travel and accommodation fees may apply

Additional Info

  • Performances include full sound gear and setup/takedown time.

  • Travel fees may apply, especially outside Salt Spring Island. Discounts may be available when multiple schools in the same area book on the same day.

  • For elementary schools, the classroom follow-up visit is ideal for up to two classes and focuses on bee education and social-emotional learning.

  • Birthday parties may include an optional DJ-style dance party with props and games.

  • Festival and corporate performances can be customized for children or adults and include a dedicated tech assistant.

  • Bumbalina accepts credit cards and provides official invoices/receipts.

  • Performances require a 50% deposit upfront, with the balance due on the day of the show.

  • If Bumbalina is unable to attend due to illness, all fees are refunded as per the signed contract.
